Owner Crys Shannon moved to Vail, Colorado from LA carrying with her intimate knowledge of the clothing industry, a passion for sustainability, and the drive to find a solution for deadstock. We talked through her goals for Algorythm and the many symbols she had been working into her designs. Including three different graphics she had been using for her logo. We were able to sort, prioritize, and extract the elements that ultimately defined who her brand is and streamline the narrative and messaging accordingly.

An Industry Transformation

We created a logo that represents the evolution she hopes to see in the fashion industry, progress for the future of sustainability, and the literal transformation of clothing into something new and desirable. The juxtapositions of the traditionally feminine butterfly with the typically male colors and the sharp, angular shapes of a soft, delicate creature embodies the spirit of contradicting societal expectations, empowering women, and celebrating her self expression.

Due to the nature of working with a very small, family owned business our project scope was fairly limited. In an effort to conserve both design and dev hours where possible, we started with a Shopify template base and customized the design. Once the final mockups were approved, I worked closely with our developer to bring the site live.
